C.B.S. (Whitton) Ltd (Cars Bikes and Scooters) was established in 1959 and became Piaggio and Gilera Agents in 1960 The company was taken over in 1974 by the Hasler family who promptly got rid of the Cars to specialise in their first love - Motorcycles and Scooters. In 1978 the company took on the Yamaha Agency and in 1982 the Kawasaki Agency.

Both Dot and Peter were well known in the scooter world through their associations with the Thames Valley Vespa Club and the Vespa Club of Great Britain . They were very successful in their scooter sport winning over 200 trophies between them. Dot won the title "Queen of the Isle of Man " on two occasions riding Piaggio machines.

Neville and Tina both competed in Schoolboy Motorcross riding Kawasaki MX machines. They started at the age of 6 and were both very successful and collected almost as many trophies as their parents. All our staff are Motorcycle or scooter enthusiasts.
